Scholarship Title

NEF Merit Award for Children of FDE Teachers 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• The applicant must be a child of a serving, retired, or deceased Federal Government teacher (ICT).
• Must have secured admission on merit in a degree program at any HEC-recognized public sector college or university.
• Admission must be fresh. Students already enrolled in previous sessions are not eligible.
• Preference will be given to students admitted in public sector medical and engineering colleges.
• The applicant must have obtained at least 75 percent marks in the intermediate examination from a recognized board.
• Must provide a college or university admission/acceptance letter along with the original fee submission slip.
• Only one child of a serving teacher and up to two children of a retired or deceased teacher are eligible for the award.
• Students enrolled in distance learning programs or affiliated colleges are not eligible.
• Candidates studying on a self-finance basis are not eligible.
• Students already receiving any other scholarship or financial grant are not eligible to apply.

Applicants can apply through the following process:

• Download the application form from the official NEF website: www.nef.gov.pk
• Alternatively, collect the application form from the NEF office located at Taleemi Chowk, G-8/4, Islamabad
• Office timing for form collection: 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM
