PERMANENT COMMISSION (PC)

161 General Duty Pilot GD (P)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: 16 to 22 years (on 15 Oct 2026)
• Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
• Marital Status: Unmarried
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm)
• Vision: 6/6 (with glasses)
• Qualification: Minimum 65% marks in aggregate

Eligible Academic Background:

• F.Sc (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical with additional Math / Computer Science / Biology)
• A-Level with Physics & Maths
• F.Sc with Physics and any two subjects (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Biology)
• DAE in relevant fields (Avionics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, etc.)

Training Period: 4 Years
Award: BS Degree in Aviation Management / Aerospace Studies

SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (SSC / SPSSC)

137 Engineering Branch

• Age: 20 to 26 years
• Qualification: BE / BSc Engineering (Chemical Engineering & equivalent preferred)

• Training Period: 24 Weeks

137 Education Branch

• Age: 20 to 29 years
• Qualification:
  • MSc / MPhil in Maths
  • MSc / MPhil in Psychology
  • MSc / MPhil in Education
  • MS / MPhil in English (Literature / Linguistics)
  • MSc / MPhil in Statistics
• Minimum 65% or 2.7/4 CGPA
• Training Period: 24 Weeks

137 Education Branch (Islamiyat)

• Age: 20 to 29 years
• Qualification: MS / MPhil Islamic Studies
• Minimum 65% or 2.7/4 CGPA
• Training Period: 24 Weeks

137 MET Branch (Meteorology)

• Age: 20 to 26 years
• Qualification: BS / BE / BSc (Physics / Maths / Meteorology / Environmental Science)
• Training Period: 24 Weeks

137 Accounts Branch

• Age: 20 to 26 years
• Qualification: B.Com / BBA (Finance) / BS Accounting & Finance (Minimum 65% or 2.7 CGPA)
• Training Period: 24 Weeks

Selection Procedure

4. Initial Medical Examination & Interview
5. ISSB Test
6. Final Medical Examination
7. Flying Aptitude Test (For GD(P) candidates)
8. Final Selection by Air Headquarters

Ineligibility Conditions

Candidates will be declared ineligible if they:

• Have been rejected twice by ISSB
• Have been dismissed or removed from government service
• Have been convicted by any court of law
• Have provided false or incomplete information
• Have been permanently rejected by ISSB
