The Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), operating under the Home Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from highly qualified, competent, and motivated individuals for appointment on contract basis against the following vacant posts at Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Lahore, Training Laboratory, and Satellite PFSA at Divisional Level.

1. Forensic Scientist (Firearms & Tool Marks) – 01 Post (Open Merit)
2. Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) – 02 Posts (Open Merit – Only Male)
3. Forensic Scientist (Toxicology) – 02 Posts (Open Merit / Women Quota)
4. Forensic Scientist (Trace Chemistry) – 01 Post (Women Quota)
5. Forensic Scientist (Latent Finger Print) – 01 Post (Minority Quota)
6. Forensic Scientist (Polygraph) – 01 Post (Open Merit)
7. Forensic Scientist (Narcotics) – 01 Post (Minority Quota)
8. Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology) – 03 Posts (Open Merit)
9. Forensic Scientist (Pathology & Histology) – 03 Posts (Open Merit)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE (SUMMARY)

• MS / M.Phil / MSc / BS (Hons) / MBBS / PhD in relevant disciplines such as:
  • Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Forensic Science
  • Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology
  • Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Toxicology
  • Clinical Psychology, Pathology, Histopathology
  • Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Entomology
• Degrees must be HEC / PMDC / PMC recognized
• Relevant experience (3–5 years) in an accredited forensic, pathology, or medical laboratory is mandatory (as per post)
• Post-qualification experience only will be counted

AGE LIMIT

• Forensic Scientist: 28 to 35 years
• Pathology & Histology: Up to 40 years
• Junior Forensic Scientist: 23 to 35 years
  (Age relaxation as per Government of Punjab policy)

SALARY PACKAGE

• Forensic Scientist (Pathology & Histology):
  Rs. 375,000/- per month + 10% annual increase
• Forensic Scientist (Other Categories):
  Rs. 325,000/- per month + 10% annual increase
• Junior Forensic Scientist:
  Rs. 200,000/- per month + 10% annual increase
  (Half salary will be paid during training period)

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Appointments are contract-based under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004
• Only male candidates are eligible for Crime & Death Scene Investigation
• Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Punjab
• Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected without notice
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview
• PFSA reserves the right to increase, decrease, cancel, or withhold any post
